Actually I just finished. Brief synopsis: strange goings-on in small Canadian fishing town. Story told from the viewpoint of a multitude of characters but remains clear and easy to follow. Bit spooky in parts but essentially a tale of self-discovery and adapting to changing circumstances. Worth a go.
Resistance & Retaliation: Aboriginal-European Relations in Early Colonial South Australia by Alan Pope. Published in 1989, this uncommon book focuses on the uncomfortable truths that are, even now, being overlooked. Is it really enough to say sorry?
